About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Writer/Editor to research, write, edit, and proofread technical documentation including manuals, procedures, and specifications. In this role, you will ensure that all technical content is accurate, complete, and meets editorial standards while adhering to quality guidelines for format, graphics, and style.
What You’ll Do:
• Research, write, edit, and proofread technical data for manuals, procedures, and specifications covering work methods, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment
• Develop clear, coherent documentation that meets editorial and industry standards while ensuring compliance with relevant style guides and directives
• Create, manipulate, and integrate graphics, charts, and diagrams into documentation
• Review and edit rough drafts for format, clarity, and adherence to quality standards
• Maintain organized records of document movement through approval processes
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders across different departments
• Support administrative tasks as needed
Skills/background needed:
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with desktop publishing, including creating tables, manipulating graphics, and formatting documents
• Ability to review and provide constructive feedback on others’ writing
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines
