About this role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer/Editor to join our team on a fully remote basis. You’ll work on creating and refining technical documentation, test plans, and procedures that support our operations. This is an entry-level position with full training provided — no prior experience in this specific field is required.
What you’ll do:
• Write, rewrite, and edit technical documents including test plans and procedures
• Collaborate with team members in working groups to support documentation and process goals
• Review technical materials and create documentation in line with industry standards
• Learn subject matter by interviewing colleagues, reviewing technical specifications, and studying engineering documentation
Skills/background needed:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality documentation
• Willingness to learn technical tools and industry practices on the job
Nice to have:
• Experience with Adobe publishing tools
• Familiarity with technical manual standards
• Background in engineering or aviation
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
