Position Summary

As a Technical Writer & Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll work on-site with a supportive team to create content for multiple clients and projects. You’ll manage website copy, develop engaging product descriptions, write email campaigns, and contribute to community-building initiatives. This is a part-time position ideal for someone looking to build professional writing experience while maintaining flexibility.
What You’ll Do
• Write and edit website copy, product descriptions, and email campaigns
• Monitor and manage website content across multiple client accounts
• Brainstorm creative content ideas with the team
• Learn and use email marketing software to build and send campaigns
• Use SEO principles to optimize written content
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized
• Collaborate with team members and take on new challenges
Skills/background needed
• 2 years of copywriting experience (or equivalent demonstrable writing portfolio)
• 1 year of digital marketing experience (or related marketing exposure)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with website platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or similar tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Experience with design software like Canva
• Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp
• Ability to learn quickly and ask questions when needed
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Self-motivated, creative, and detail-oriented
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred (experience considered equivalent)
