About the role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. You’ll create, update, and manage technical documentation that supports our operations and systems. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our workplace.
What you’ll do:
You’ll independently create, update, and coordinate technical documents. You’ll review and analyze draft and approved versions of documentation for consistency and quality, ensuring all content meets established standards. You’ll review program documents for consistency across schedules and strategies, and coordinate modifications to plans as needed.
You’ll assist in requirements research by ensuring objectives can be achieved with current or anticipated technology. You’ll help evaluate user needs against budget expectations and support the development of clear, testable requirements. You’ll prepare briefing packages for presentation to leadership, write technical articles, reports, brochures, and manuals for a wide range of uses, and coordinate the display of graphics and document production.
Throughout your work, you’ll ensure all content is high quality and conforms to established standards.
Skills/background needed:
You should have experience writing, editing, and managing technical documentation. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat is helpful. A background in business or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience can substitute. Full training will be provided to bring you up to speed with our specific systems and processes.
Location: On-site position available.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent role.
