We’re hiring a Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you’ll create clear, user-friendly procedures and training guides that help people understand how to use products and processes safely and effectively.
You’ll work with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional teams to gather information, analyze it, and turn it into accurate documentation. This is a full-time position based at our facility, with standard Monday through Friday hours, though occasional off-shift responsibilities may be required.
What You’ll Do
• Observe processes, take notes and photos, and work with experts to gather information for documentation
• Analyze information to produce clear, high-quality documentation
• Follow and maintain current document standards
• Collaborate with other writers to improve standards and practices
• Gather feedback to improve content and usability
• Edit documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Help solve documentation issues using existing practices
• Audit document distribution and note any discrepancies
• Support a safe workplace culture for yourself and your colleagues
Skills and Background Needed
Basic Requirements:
• High school diploma or Associate’s degree
• Ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and email
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams
• Willingness to learn quickly and understand complex subject matter
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
• Commitment to workplace safety standards
Preferred Experience:
• 1-3 years of writing experience (procedural documents preferred)
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field
• Experience working in team environments with represented workforces
