Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our team on-site. In this role, you will create clear, user-friendly documentation and marketing materials for product lines. You will work with subject matter experts to produce accurate installation guides and compelling customer-facing content.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Technical Writing
Work with subject matter experts on-site to document procedures and create step-by-step installation guides for various products. Translate technical specifications, diagrams, and schematics into clear, user-friendly layouts. Manage documentation using standard authoring tools and content management systems, ensuring version control and accessibility.
Marketing Content Support
Support marketing initiatives by translating technical information into engaging customer-facing copy for product catalogs, packaging, and digital media. Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
Skills/background needed
No prior technical writing experience required. We welcome candidates with strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is helpful but not essential—full training will be provided. Any experience working with design tools, content management systems, or creating user guides is a bonus. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant certifications or coursework in technical communication, marketing, or a related field are valuable but not necessary.
