We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our team and support the creation, revision, and distribution of technical documentation. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for managing complex technical materials with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity.
This is a fully remote position ideal for someone new to technical writing who is eager to learn and grow in a structured environment. No prior experience in this field is required—we provide full training on all tools and processes you’ll need.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread technical documentation while ensuring all required standards are followed
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts to write, edit, and distribute technical manuals
- Assist in converting and migrating technical documentation between different formats and systems
- Participate in regular document review meetings to support the documentation change process and provide feedback on requests
Skills/background needed:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a structured, deadline-driven environment and managing multiple projects
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with XML or structured content formats
- Previous exposure to technical documentation or publications
- Experience with specialised editing software
