We are looking for a Technical Writer to create, maintain, and organize clear documentation for complex systems. This fully remote role will primarily focus on producing operation and maintenance documentation, training materials, and support resources. You’ll also manage our documentation library—ensuring version control, archiving, indexing, and organization—and help establish templates and processes that maintain documentation quality and consistency.

What you’ll be doing:

• Author and maintain clear, accurate documentation for system operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field support
• Create training materials, quick-start guides, and step-by-step procedures that help users understand complex technical tasks
• Develop safety notices, checklists, and illustrations to support technicians and operators
• Organize and maintain the documentation library, including version control, archiving, and indexing
• Publish documentation on knowledge bases and ensure proper access and up-to-date content
• Work with standardized templates and style guides to ensure consistency across all materials
• Collaborate with technical teams to gather information and validate documentation accuracy
• Track documentation changes and ensure updates accompany system changes and releases
• Help manage documentation tools and workflows; train team members on proper usage
• Review documentation sets regularly for completeness and accuracy, identifying gaps to address

Skills/background needed:

• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to explain complex systems in clear, task-oriented language
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable gathering technical information from subject matter experts and validating content accuracy
• User-focused mindset—you prioritize clarity, safety, and usability
• Experience with documentation tools such as content management systems, SharePoint, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with graphics and diagramming tools
• Experience creating training materials and converting technical information into operator procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
