About the role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and help create clear, well-structured documentation for complex technical requirements. In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across different teams to gather information, draft technical documents, and ensure all materials are accurate, clear, and professionally presented.
Your day-to-day work will include:
• Drafting and editing technical documentation including capability documents, white papers, and briefing materials• Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate complex concepts into clear, accessible language• Managing documentation timelines and coordinating with team members to meet project deadlines• Gathering and organizing reference materials and meeting notes• Reviewing final documents to ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and clarity• Supporting the document approval and submission process• Creating supporting materials such as background papers and technical briefings
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree or minimum four years of professional experience• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them in simple, clear language• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously• Comfortable working collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders• Attention to detail and commitment to consistency and accuracy in all documentation
The following are valuable but not required:
• Experience with SharePoint• Familiarity with design or document layout tools• Experience with specialized technical writing software
