Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team on a fully remote basis. The primary responsibility of this role will be to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency. You will collaborate with various teams to gather information, develop clear procedures, and keep all documents up to date.
Responsibilities:
• Develop clear, well-structured documentation that outlines procedures, policies, and guidelines in language that is easy to understand
• Work with team members across the organisation to gather information and ensure the accuracy of all content
• Update existing documents regularly to reflect changes in procedures, policies, and requirements
• Review and revise documentation to ensure it meets quality standards and best practices
• Format, edit, and publish all documents according to established standards
• Maintain organised records of all documentation, ensuring version control and easy access for all team members
• Continuously seek ways to improve documentation processes based on feedback and industry standards
Skills/background needed:
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with people from different teams
• A background in English, Communications, or a related field is a plus, but not essential – we provide full training for entry-level candidates
