About This Role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you’ll translate complex technical information into clear, easy-to-understand documents that help others understand how systems and processes work. This is a fully remote position, perfect for someone starting their writing career.
What You’ll Do:
• Write and edit technical documentation that explains complex ideas in simple language
• Work with subject matter experts and team members to gather information and understand technical concepts
• Create clear, organized documents with consistent formatting and structure
• Review your own work and that of others to catch errors and improve clarity
• Learn and apply industry best practices for technical writing
• Help ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and easy to follow
Skills/Background Needed:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and ask for help when needed
Desired:
• Experience with Google Docs or Microsoft Word
• Prior experience writing instructions or how-to guides
• Basic understanding of technical documentation standards
• Experience working in a team environment
