Technical Writer – Product Documentation, Entry Level

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team on a full-time basis. You’ll create clear, user-friendly documentation that helps people understand complex technical concepts. This is a great opportunity to develop your writing skills in a supportive environment where training is provided.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Write and edit user documentation, how-to guides, instruction manuals, procedures, and training materials

Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation tailored to specific audiences

Prepare technical papers, manuals, policies, and specifications

Analyze drawings, specifications, test results, and other inputs to develop or update content

Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and other team members to understand technical specifications

Maintain and organize a library of documents and final presentations

Ensure consistency and clarity across related documents

Conduct final reviews for layout, grammar, and editorial quality

Support document revisions and version control as needed

Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for content creation, layout, and formatting

Skills/Background Needed

Strong writing and grammar skills with clear command of English

Experience with or willingness to learn Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to break down technical information into easy-to-understand formats

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative on documentation needs
