We’re seeking a Technical Writer to join our quality assurance team. You’ll support manufacturing quality systems through investigation of quality events and development of controlled documentation.
This role ensures deviations, investigations, and quality documentation are accurate and compliant. You’ll work collaboratively across teams to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Investigate and document quality events including deviations, incidents, and customer complaints
- Perform and document root cause analyses and develop corrective and preventive actions
- Draft, revise, and maintain controlled documentation such as standard operating procedures, batch records, protocols, technical reports, and risk assessments
- Support change control activities related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities
- Collaborate with manufacturing, packaging, engineering, and quality teams to ensure documentation accuracy
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through trend analysis and quality system enhancements
Skills/Background Needed
We welcome applicants with:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or Engineering
- Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments
- Technical writing experience and familiarity with quality management systems
- Strong written communication, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn regulatory compliance requirements on the job
Full training will be provided. No prior experience with deviation management or change control systems is required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
