About the Role
As a Technical Writer, you’ll create clear, user-friendly written materials to support medical device products. You’ll work with subject matter experts, develop product knowledge, and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards and departmental guidelines.
What You’ll Do
• Build a working understanding of medical device products through training and guidance
• Work with subject matter experts to understand and document content requirements
• Author and revise technical literature using standard content management systems
• Review materials to ensure compliance with all requirements and guidelines
• Collaborate with design teams on layouts, images, and visual elements
• Obtain necessary approvals to move documentation through review processes
• Identify gaps in documentation and work with team members to address them
• Support a broad portfolio of medical device products with patient-facing materials
Skills/background needed: No prior technical writing experience required. We provide full training. You should have strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex product information. A degree in any field is helpful, but willingness to learn is most important.
Nice to have: Any experience writing for regulated industries, familiarity with content management systems, or previous work creating materials for general audiences.
Work format: Fully remote – work from home or anywhere with an internet connection.
