About the Role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to create clear, accurate documentation and in-app guidance for software users. You’ll work with product teams, engineers, and designers to produce online help, guides, videos, and other resources that help different audiences understand and use complex technical features.
This is a fully remote position, and we welcome entry-level candidates with a passion for making technical subjects accessible.
What You’ll Do:
Create and maintain documentation for software applications, including user guides and admin resources. Write clear, concise content for audiences with different technical backgrounds. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and user experience teams. Manage multiple documentation projects and priorities. Learn complex technologies quickly and translate that knowledge into approachable written content.
Skills/Background Needed:
Strong writing skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and accurately. Experience using AI tools and an interest in how they can speed up content creation. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Familiarity with XML-based authoring tools such as Markdown or similar platforms. Experience with source control software. Ability to read and understand code samples is a plus.
