About This Role:
We’re looking for a Writer/Editor to join our communications team. If you’re passionate about storytelling, enjoy writing across multiple formats, and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll work on everything from feature articles and news pieces to social media content, web copy, and internal communications. This is an in-person position based at our workplace.
What You’ll Do:
As part of our communications team, you’ll write and edit a variety of content including feature articles, profiles, event recaps, and news pieces for our publications and online platforms. You’ll proactively identify story ideas and content opportunities across all our communications channels. You’ll write copy for websites, social media, print materials, and digital advertising. You’ll review, edit, and proofread articles and content from team members and other departments to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency with our brand voice. You’ll collaborate with teammates across departments to develop new materials and improve our processes. You’ll also support additional writing needs such as formal letters, speeches, and presentations as required. Some travel will be required to fulfill job duties.
Skills/Background Needed:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related field. Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats. Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability. Experience with research and fact-checking. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Experience with Google Docs is helpful. Familiarity with Canva or similar design platforms is a plus. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and meet multiple deadlines. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
