Role: Content Writer – Digital Marketing
About the Role
We’re looking for an entry-level Content Writer to join our digital marketing team. In this fully remote role, you’ll help create, manage and optimise content across multiple channels including email, SMS, and website platforms. You’ll work with marketing tools to build campaigns, manage web content, and support our broader marketing strategy. No prior professional experience is required – full training will be provided.
What You’ll Do
Email and SMS Campaigns
• Build email and SMS campaigns in marketing platforms based on provided content and direction
• Test campaigns across devices and email service providers to ensure proper display
• Send test campaigns to team members and gather feedback
• Monitor when campaigns are sent to ensure they reach audiences successfully
• Track campaign performance and share results with the team
• Help plan ways to improve email and SMS click-through rates
• Maintain content calendars and production schedules
Website Content
• Post content to the website using content management systems, including blog posts, web pages, and online forms
• Perform quality checks to ensure all content is accurate and displays correctly
• Make basic image edits as needed
• Work with HTML and CSS code when required
• Suggest ways to improve website content and functionality
Team Collaboration
• Participate in team meetings and planning discussions
• Contribute ideas to brainstorms and strategy sessions
• Work across teams in a fast-paced environment
• Handle multiple projects at the same time
Skills and Background You’ll Need
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of experience in email and web content production
• Experience building emails and SMS campaigns in marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus)
• Ability to write and edit HTML and CSS code
• Experience with content management systems (Drupal experience is a plus)
• Ability to perform basic image cropping and editing in Photoshop or similar software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
• Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changes
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Fluent in English
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract Length: Full-time
