We’re looking for a Content Strategist to help shape how millions of players discover and experience a gaming platform. This is a fully remote role where you’ll own creative strategy across paid social channels, turn player insights into compelling concepts, and build a repeatable system for producing winning creative.
This isn’t a role where you’ll write briefs and hand them off. You’ll spot opportunities, develop creative concepts, write hooks, direct execution, launch tests, analyze results, and decide what gets made next. You’ll answer one of the most important questions in growth: What should we create next, and why?
What You’ll Own
Build and evolve the creative strategy across major paid platforms. Define the stories, emotions, and angles we test. Turn creative production into a repeatable system rather than one-off campaigns.
Develop positioning, messaging, and creative angles that help players feel understood rather than marketed to. Find the moments, frustrations, and insights that resonate with real users. Translate those insights into concepts that capture attention and drive action.
Champion bold ideas and test them quickly. Create frameworks for turning what you learn from performance data into future wins. Push beyond standard formats to create original work that feels authentic and native to your audience.
Direct creative partners, editors, and designers. Build clear briefs that inspire great work. Give actionable feedback that improves output without slowing teams down.
You Might Be a Great Fit If…
You understand the culture of your target audience because you’re part of it. You have strong opinions on what makes certain ads work and others fall flat. You can move seamlessly between big-picture strategy and hands-on creative work. You enjoy turning performance data into creative ideas. You don’t need extensive briefs to get started. You get excited about finding a winning concept and figuring out how to scale it. You’re naturally curious about user behavior and motivation.
Skills/background needed: 4–6 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, copywriting, creative direction, or a related role. Experience creating performance-focused paid social creative. Strong understanding of major paid platforms and how to create content native to each. Experience turning insights and data into creative decisions. Experience working with freelancers, agencies, or creative partners. A portfolio that demonstrates concept development, messaging, and creative thinking—not just execution. Ability to explain both the idea behind a creative and the result it achieved.
Bonus points for: Experience in the gaming industry. Background in entertainment, media, or consumer apps. Deep familiarity with online communities and internet culture. Experience in fast-growing startups.
Tools you’ll work with: Canva, Google Docs, Google Drive, Gmail, Zoom, and other standard creative and collaboration tools.
What you’ll get: Real ownership from day one. Freedom to experiment and shape strategy. Direct impact on how millions of users discover the platform. The opportunity to build a creative function from the ground up. A team that cares deeply about the product and user experience. Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application. Fully remote work with flexibility.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Permanent, full-time.
Location: Fully remote. Open to applicants worldwide.
