About this role
We’re looking for a Social Media Content Manager to join us on a part-time, contract basis. This is a fully remote position where you’ll craft and manage compelling social media content, build community engagement, and track performance across multiple platforms.
What you’ll be doing
Content planning and publishing: Work with the team to develop social media calendars, plan content strategy, and publish posts across priority platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit.
Creative execution: Create and manage content pieces, working both independently and with creative teammates to bring ideas to life.
Community engagement: Respond to comments, direct messages, and community interactions while maintaining brand voice and working with other teams to ensure consistent, helpful responses.
Performance tracking: Monitor social media analytics, create regular reports, and identify patterns in what’s working so we can improve over time.
Platform expertise: Stay current with trends and best practices on TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit. Work comfortably in Canva, a social scheduling tool, and a project management platform.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
• At least 3 years of hands-on social media management experience, preferably managing day-to-day content for a consumer brand
• Proven experience managing content and community across TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit, with recent portfolio examples
• Strong writing skills, especially short-form copy and captions that match brand voice (portfolio should include caption examples)
• Experience responding to comments, direct messages, and managing community interactions—plus the ability to flag sensitive issues for the right teams
• Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools, a social scheduling platform, and project management software—you don’t need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable learning tools quickly
• Comfort creating and maintaining regular analytics reports and identifying patterns in performance data
Contract details
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: 3-month contract
Hours: 20 hours per week
Location: Fully remote—work from anywhere
Start date: Candidates should be available to start within two weeks of offer.
