As a Medical Writer, you will combine your interest in science with your writing skills to develop clear, engaging content for the healthcare and biotech industry. You’ll help transform complex scientific information into content that people can actually understand, making a real difference in how medical knowledge reaches its audience.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop clear, accurate medical and scientific content by researching and understanding complex topics in depth
• Read and synthesize primary scientific literature, identifying key information and sources
• Translate technical scientific material into language that non-specialist audiences can easily understand
• Pay close attention to detail and accuracy in all written work
• Manage multiple writing projects at once while meeting deadlines
• Support colleagues and internal teams with your expertise on medical topics
• Contribute to proposal development for client projects
• Participate in team meetings and client discussions
• Adapt quickly to new projects and priorities as needed
Skills/Background Needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Interest in or experience with medical or scientific writing
• Strong research and writing skills
• Comfort using Microsoft Word and other standard office software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented approach to work
• Motivation to learn and grow in the medical communications field
