We are seeking a full-time Digital Design Instructor to join our academic team. This is an on-campus, full-time position offering the opportunity to teach and mentor students in digital design, user experience, and creative technology.
About the Role:
You will teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in digital design across multiple formats: traditional classroom, online, and hybrid delivery. Beyond teaching, you’ll advise and mentor students, serve on departmental committees, and contribute to the wider academic community. This is a full-time position with a standard Monday–Friday schedule of 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses at undergraduate and graduate levels
• Advise and mentor students throughout their academic journey
• Serve on department and university committees
• Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Skills/Background Needed:
Required:
• An earned Master’s degree (MFA) in Digital Design or a closely related field
• Proven teaching excellence in higher education
• Demonstrated graphic design experience
• Mastery of industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite)
• Practical experience in user experience (UX) design and research, including web design, app design, and human-centered design methods
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Adaptability and ability to handle unexpected challenges
Preferred:
• A Doctorate in Digital Design or a related field
• 3+ years of professional or teaching experience
• Industry certifications
• Digital artistic and communication interests
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract Length: Full-time, 12-month academic year position.

Training & Support:
All new hires receive comprehensive onboarding and support. You’ll complete a 90-day probationary period during which you’ll learn the functions of the role and receive evaluation feedback. Mandatory compliance training is provided in all required areas, including data privacy, cybersecurity, institutional policies, and academic-specific software tools.
