About the role:
We’re looking for a Content Specialist to join our Learning and Development team. You’ll work on creating training materials and learning programmes across multiple audiences, using adult learning principles to design effective educational content. This is a fully remote position where you’ll collaborate with teams to develop onboarding, business training, and leadership development materials in various formats including online courses, virtual sessions, and in-person workshops.
No prior experience is required – we provide full training and support to help you succeed in this role. If you’re interested in learning design and instructional development, this is a great entry point into the field.
What you’ll do:
• Work with HR, Learning and Development teams, and subject matter experts to design and develop training solutions
• Create training materials and courses for multiple audiences simultaneously
• Develop leadership development resources in both online and in-person formats
• Help coordinate training projects from start to finish
• Use instructional design software to build engaging online learning content
• Monitor and report on how effective the training programmes are
• Participate in developing feedback on course materials
• Help create train-the-trainer programmes in partnership with other departments
• Support the strategy for developing online learning, mobile training, and virtual classroom platforms
• Review and update learning activities as needed
Skills/background needed:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritise effectively
• Self-starter mentality with good time management
• Comfortable presenting to groups and speaking in meetings
• Ability to adapt explanations to different learning styles
• Understanding of how adults learn and can apply this to workplace training
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Experience or comfort with instructional design software
• Ability to work effectively in virtual team environments with strong engagement in online meetings
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job
