We are seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to support our marketing team with a focus on social media, digital content, and event coordination.
About the role:
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience across marketing, social media management, and digital communications. You’ll work from home, supporting a range of marketing activities including content creation, community engagement, website updates, and event logistics. No prior experience is required—we provide full training and guidance as you learn.
What you’ll do:
Social Media Support
• Engage with our community daily across social platforms
• Support growth strategies on Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Houzz
• Assist with short-form video ideas and trend-inspired content
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance our digital presence
Website & Digital Marketing
• Update product collections and images on the website using WordPress
• Support basic SEO optimization for product pages
• Draft and proofread marketing content
• Help with email marketing tasks: organizing client lists in spreadsheets, tracking email campaign performance, and maintaining simple reports
Event & Experience Support
• Assist with event planning, preparation, and setup
• Help with post-event tasks such as packaging and follow-up communications
• Support general administrative and logistical requests
Skills/background needed:
• Personal laptop required for work
• Genuine interest in marketing, social media, and digital media
• Comfortable with social media platforms—particularly Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok
• Familiar with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
• Creative mindset with a willingness to bring new ideas to the team
• No prior experience necessary—we welcome beginners
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Part-time, up to 16 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on project load.
Schedule: Flexible scheduling structured around your availability. Hours must fall between Tuesday–Friday, 9am–5pm. Occasional evening support for events may be requested.
Location: Fully remote. Work from home.
