Join our documentation team as a Technical Writer, where you will develop, maintain, and improve customer-facing product documentation. You will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, quality assurance specialists, and other subject matter experts to gather information about new products and features, transforming complex technical details into clear, accessible documentation for customers and internal teams.
You will create and maintain documentation for a diverse range of product areas, process documentation requests from internal stakeholders, review existing content for accuracy and consistency, and deliver documentation on deadline in a fast-paced, release-driven environment. Your work will enable customers and staff to use our platform effectively and confidently.
What You’ll Be Doing
Creating product documentation and release notes for our software suite
Collaborating with product, engineering, and quality assurance teams to gather information about new features, enhancements, and product updates
Coordinating with localization teams to manage documentation translations
Auditing existing documentation to improve quality and ensure accuracy
Working with a distributed team to champion continuous process improvements
Skills/background needed:
A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or a similar field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Experience writing customer-facing documentation for software products
Experience working within a formal content standard or editorial style guide and can apply it with precision
Experience writing release notes or product-change documentation
Ability to write for a global audience and understand how sentence construction affects translation quality
Comfortable working with HTML and using web-based content management systems
Strong attention to detail and high editorial standards
Self-motivated and skilled at managing your own work, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Enjoy explaining technical topics clearly and concisely to audiences with varying levels of technical background
Welcome feedback and coaching from managers and stakeholders
Confident communicating with peers at all levels
