We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Associate to help build and grow our online presence. You’ll manage our social media channels, create engaging content, and help us connect with our audience in meaningful ways.
This is a great opportunity if you’re passionate about social media, content creation, and digital storytelling. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where creativity and data-driven thinking go hand in hand. No prior professional experience required – we provide full training and support for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
Manage Social Media Channels
You’ll oversee our presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. This includes planning, publishing, and monitoring content to maximize engagement. You’ll also respond to comments and messages, keeping our community active and engaged while staying true to our brand voice.
Create Engaging Content
Develop compelling posts, graphics, captions, and short-form videos for our audience. You’ll capture real moments through photography and videography, create platform-specific content that fits current trends, and work with our design tools to bring ideas to life.
Collaborate with Teams
Work alongside colleagues across the organization to tell our story. You’ll support marketing initiatives, special events, and campaigns by creating relevant social content that aligns with our priorities and messaging.
Support Strategy and Campaigns
Help plan and execute social media campaigns. You’ll stay up-to-date with platform trends, audience behaviors, and emerging best practices to keep our content fresh and effective.
Track Performance
Analyze social media metrics to see what’s working. You’ll provide insights on engagement, reach, and audience growth, and offer ideas for improvement.
Event Coverage
Provide photography, videography, and live social media updates during events and activities. Some occasional evening and weekend availability may be needed.
What You’ll Bring
Required
A genuine interest in social media and digital content. You should have some experience managing social platforms or creating content – this could be professional, academic, or personal. A strong understanding of how different social networks work (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) is important. You’ll need solid writing skills, good organizational ability, and the capacity to juggle multiple projects. Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with photography, videography, or graphic design. Familiarity with nonprofit, educational, or mission-driven organizations. Previous social media or digital marketing work experience.
