Social Media Strategist – Entry Level (Remote)

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Strategist to join our team and help drive our brand’s presence across social platforms. You’ll develop and execute social media strategies, create engaging content, manage community interactions, and track performance metrics. Key Responsibilities

Social Strategy & Content Management

Develop and execute organic social media strategy across all platforms. Create and manage monthly content calendars that align with promotional opportunities and current trends. Research competitors and industry best practices to inform content direction. Ensure content is published accurately and on time, while staying within campaign budgets.

Content Collaboration & Creation

Work with creative and marketing teams to develop engaging content ideas. Write clear, compelling social copy that reflects brand voice and personality. Develop campaign briefs for promotional launches and key moments. Capture and curate content to support the social calendar.

Community & Engagement

Manage community engagement across all platforms and respond to audience interactions consistently. Identify customer themes and feedback to share with internal teams. Drive user-generated content campaigns and activate audiences. Manage influencer and content creator partnerships from selection through execution.

Reporting & Performance

Track and report on weekly and monthly performance using platform reporting tools. Analyze engagement trends and audience behaviour to inform strategy. Test content and measure results against key performance indicators. Identify opportunities to amplify high-performing content and collaborate on paid digital strategy.

Skills/Background Needed

No prior professional experience required—we provide full training. You should have strong written communication skills, basic familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn), and enthusiasm for digital marketing. Experience with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word is helpful but not essential. Any experience with content creation, video editing, or design is a bonus.
