Overview: We’re looking for a Social Media Strategist to join our communications team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll develop and execute social media strategy across our brand and campaigns. You’ll work cross-functionally to build a cohesive social strategy that supports marketing goals, builds brand presence, and drives engagement across organic, influencer, and paid channels.
You’ll be the connector: working with different teams to translate business strategies into clear social plans, ensuring content is built to engage, be found, shared, and amplified across the digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
• Develop an integrated social strategy across business units by partnering with marketing teams to translate broader strategies into clear social plans while supporting brand-level stories and corporate initiatives
• Establish social media practices by defining playbooks, workflows, and standards that allow social to operate effectively across the organization
• Define key performance indicators tied to business outcomes and create dashboards to track performance data and turn insights into actionable recommendations
• Connect social strategy to how audiences discover content through organic search and social search
• Lead community management by monitoring conversations, responding to comments, identifying opportunities, and engaging with brand ambassadors, partners, and influencers
• Own the social content calendar and oversee content development for paid and organic campaigns, including product launches and brand moments, in partnership with marketing teams
• Manage agency and vendor relationships while building social capability across the organization through training and content reviews
Skills/background needed:
• Experience developing and executing social media strategies
• Deep knowledge of major social platforms, platform best practices, and how to use social publishing and analytics tools
• Proven success working cross-functionally to develop social strategies and manage content calendars
• Experience managing external agencies or vendors
• Ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
• Strong communication and project management skills
