Social Media & Content Specialist – Entry Level (Remote)

Roles: You will create, curate, and manage engaging content across digital marketing channels. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling materials that resonate with diverse audiences. This role involves planning and executing social media campaigns, developing content strategy, tracking performance, and collaborating with team members to achieve marketing goals.

What you will do:

Plan, create, and curate digital marketing campaigns for social media platforms to improve presence and engagement. Work with the team to create engaging content that translates complex information into user-friendly posts. Develop and implement an ongoing video strategy for educational and promotional purposes. Track, analyze, and prepare reports on digital marketing performance. Work collaboratively to develop new strategies to increase engagement and reach target audiences. Research topics and interview subject-matter experts to inform content creation.

Skills/background needed:

1–3 years of marketing experience with a focus on content creation and digital marketing is preferred, but we welcome applicants with strong foundational knowledge. Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn is essential. Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools is important. You should be comfortable learning video production and editing software, as well as design tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills are crucial. You’ll need keen analytical skills and experience using website analytics tools. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, and solid organizational abilities are all important. A background in marketing, communications, or a related field is helpful but not required—we provide full training for entry-level candidates.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
