Social Media & Content Specialist – Remote (Entry Level)

Welcome to a role where you’ll develop and execute social media strategies that build brand awareness, drive engagement, and support real organizational goals.

In this position, you’ll manage day-to-day social content creation, channel management, analytics, and community engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms. You’ll also support video production efforts, including content capture and editing. A strong understanding of digital trends, video storytelling, and social media best practices is essential — and we’ll help you develop these skills from day one.

What You’ll Do:

Social Media Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute organic social media strategies aligned to brand and business priorities. Manage social content calendars across multiple channels. Translate marketing campaigns and business objectives into platform-specific content. Develop strategies to maximize the reach and engagement of videos, webinars, and events.

Content Creation & Video Production
Create engaging, platform-native content including short-form video, graphics, photography, and social copy. Assist with video production, including content capture, interviews, and event coverage. Edit video content for social media and marketing campaigns. Repurpose long-form content into short-form social assets. Partner with internal teams to source stories and content opportunities. Ensure all content reflects brand voice and messaging consistency.

Community Management
Monitor and engage with audiences across platforms in a timely, authentic, and brand-aligned manner. Support reputation management by identifying sensitive interactions. Foster community growth and strengthen audience relationships through proactive engagement.

Analytics & Optimization
Track, analyze, and report on social media and content performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and audience growth. Identify trends and opportunities to continuously optimize content and strategy. Provide regular reporting and actionable recommendations.

Collaboration
Partner with marketing, communications, and creative teams to align social and content efforts. Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed. Serve as a subject matter expert on social media trends and platform innovations.

Skills/background needed:

Experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms. Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or Canva. Strong understanding of short-form video trends and content repurposing strategies. Experience with community management and online reputation engagement. Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines. A data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements. Strong visual and content creation skills.

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but we welcome applicants with equivalent work experience in marketing or digital content creation. No prior social media management experience is required — we’ll provide full training and support as you grow into this role.

Contract length: Permanent, Full-Time
