About the role:
We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media & Marketing Specialist to help us grow our online presence and connect with our audience. In this role, you’ll develop and execute marketing strategies, create engaging content across multiple platforms, and track campaign performance. This is a fully remote position—work from home and enjoy flexibility while making a real impact.
What you’ll do:
• Create, curate, and manage content (images, video, written) across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns
• Analyze campaign performance and use insights to optimize marketing strategies
• Engage with community members and stakeholders through social media, responding to messages and building positive relationships
• Design marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, email newsletters, and promotional graphics using tools like Canva
• Monitor social media trends and apply new platforms and tools to expand reach
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and aligned communication
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and competitive positioning
• Coordinate promotional campaigns and special initiatives
• Track and manage marketing budgets responsibly
Skills/background needed:
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Proven ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing basics
• Creative mindset with a passion for innovative marketing solutions
• Team-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving
Bonus skills (not required):
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or video editing software
• Familiarity with SEO strategies and social media growth techniques
• Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools
