Social Media & Community Coordinator – Part Time (Entry Level)

About This Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organized Social Media & Community Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves managing our social media channels, creating engaging content, leading a small team, and growing our online community. No prior experience is necessary—we provide full training and support.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Support a small social media team, ensuring deadlines are met and work aligns with project goals. Coordinate with team members to schedule and publish approved content across social media platforms and work collaboratively to address team needs and resolve any issues.

Content Creation & Engagement

Develop creative, engaging posts for social media channels. Monitor content calendars and post accurate, timely updates. Respond to followers and comments, and connect with relevant team members when needed. Research social media trends and recommend strategies to boost engagement.

Quality Control & Brand Management

Review all social media content for quality and consistency. Maintain a consistent tone and voice across all channels. Provide guidance to team members on best practices for creating quality content.

Analytics & Reporting

Pull together monthly social media data and track engagement trends. Create reports on what’s working and make recommendations for improvement.

Event Support

Attend events and programs to capture photos and videos for social media. Assist with distributing promotional materials as needed.

Skills & Background Needed

We’re looking for someone with strong organizational skills, creativity, and genuine interest in social media strategy. You should be able to work well with diverse groups, communicate clearly, and stay positive in fast-paced situations. Experience with social media, communications, or business operations is preferred but not required.

You’ll need access to reliable internet to work from home and familiarity with common social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. Tools like Canva, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and email are part of the daily workflow—we’ll train you on anything you don’t know yet.

Work Environment & Requirements
