Position Summary:
This role is responsible for managing social media presence, creating digital content, and overseeing video production. You’ll develop and execute social media strategies while working with a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a great opportunity to build expertise in content creation, platform management, and digital marketing from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategy and content calendars across multiple platforms
• Create, curate and schedule engaging digital content including graphics, videos and written posts
• Oversee and mentor other team members, including part-time staff and interns
• Manage and implement social media technology across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other platforms
• Work with design and video editing software to produce professional-quality content
• Track, measure and report on social media analytics and campaign performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, communications and other departments
• Manage budgets for the digital media department
Skills and Background Needed:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation (preferred but not essential)
• Experience with video shooting and editing software, or willingness to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite (or similar design tools)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfort learning new technology quickly and adapting to change
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude and sound judgment
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed
