Overview

You’ll work closely with the central marketing team, leveraging established tools and resources while managing dedicated marketing initiatives, digital channels, and event visibility. This is an ideal entry-level role for someone ambitious, organised, and eager to make a tangible difference.
What you’ll do
Social Media & Content Management: Own and manage social media channels, including content capture, creation, publishing, and community engagement. Write and manage engaging content across digital platforms, including websites, email campaigns, and social posts.
Campaign Support: Help develop and execute marketing plans that drive participation and bookings. Contribute ideas, messaging, and insights to paid media campaigns working alongside the wider marketing team.
Guest & Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to guest feedback, reviews, comments, and messages across platforms in a timely, professional manner.
Creative Collaboration: Work with internal teams to develop marketing materials, graphics, and video content on deadline and aligned with campaign goals.
Event Activation & Industry Presence: Manage the marketing presence at regional trade shows, conventions, and professional association events.
Performance Tracking: Help track campaign performance by monitoring reach, engagement, and conversion metrics, and report on results to the team.
Skills and background needed
• Strong writing and content creation skills with experience developing engaging messaging for social media, websites, email, or other digital platforms
• Basic experience capturing or editing photo and video content (professional equipment training provided)
• Familiarity with social media platforms, email tools, or content management systems
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-focused with attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and evenings to support events
• Enthusiasm for sports, events, or hospitality (not essential, but a plus)
