We’re looking for a creative, energetic Social Media Content Creator who knows how to turn everyday moments into engaging content.
If you’re constantly thinking of video ideas, know how to create a strong hook, are comfortable using a camera or smartphone to film people and stories, and care about whether your content grows an audience and generates conversations—this role is for you. No prior professional experience required—we’ll provide full training and support.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, in-person position based locally, with content creation taking place in your surrounding area. The role is part-time with potential to grow into a full-time opportunity as you develop your skills.
What You’ll Do:
• Create, film, edit, and publish engaging social media content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other platforms
• Develop creative content ideas, hooks, scripts, captions, graphics, and video concepts that fit the brand
• Capture content at various locations and events throughout your local area
• Manage the social media content calendar and posting schedule, identifying content opportunities independently
• Engage with followers through comments and direct messages
• Track content performance using analytics and adjust strategy based on what’s working
• Help expand video strategy, including creating longer-form content and adapting it for social platforms
• Support marketing initiatives including email campaigns, event promotion, and branded materials
Skills/background needed:
• Ability to create engaging social media content and film and edit videos
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and current social media trends
• Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Canva and experience with video-editing software such as CapCut
• Understanding of social media analytics and how to use performance data to improve content
• Creative, energetic, and proactive approach to identifying content opportunities
• Comfortable both behind the camera and on camera
• Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• Willingness to learn and use AI tools to support content creation
• Ability to work in-person locally and travel within your area for content creation
• A portfolio demonstrating your social media and video work (required)
Experience creating content for lifestyle brands or longer-form video is a plus, but not required. We care much more about what you can create than how many years you’ve been doing it.
What We Offer:
• Full training and onboarding to set you up for success
• Opportunity to join an established, supportive team
• Creative freedom to help shape brand strategy and digital presence
• Potential to grow from part-time into a full-time role
• Flexible, collaborative work environment
Contract length: Part-time, with potential to transition to full-time
Location: Local, in-person position available
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
