We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Chat Support Assistant to join our customer service team. This is a great entry-level role where you’ll be one of the first points of contact for customers reaching out through live chat and online messaging.
You’ll help answer questions, provide accurate information, handle customer inquiries, and make sure every person who reaches out has a positive experience. No prior experience is necessary—we provide full training and support to help you succeed.
Key Objectives
• Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries through live chat
• Help customers find the information they need
• Deliver a friendly and professional experience that keeps customers engaged
• Identify what customers are looking for and connect them with the right team member
• Keep accurate records of customer conversations and follow-ups
Responsibilities
• Respond to customer messages through live chat in a timely and courteous way
• Answer questions and provide helpful information
• Handle multiple customer conversations at once
• Route inquiries to the appropriate team member when needed
• Document customer interactions accurately
• Follow up with customers when they need additional help
• Escalate complex issues to a manager
• Protect customer information and follow company policies
• Learn and stay updated on company information and offerings
Skills/background needed
• High school diploma or equivalent (or equivalent work experience)
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to type clearly and communicate professionally in writing
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple conversations efficiently
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software
• Good problem-solving skills
• A customer-focused, positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
Prior customer service experience is helpful but not required. We welcome first-time applicants and career changers.
