Position: Exercise Scenario Writer

We’re looking for a detail-oriented writer to help develop training exercise scenarios. You’ll work fully remote, collaborating with a team to create realistic, engaging scripts and supporting materials for operational training programmes.
What you’ll do:
• Assist in designing and developing exercise scenarios
• Write and refine scenario scripts and briefing materials
• Help create training documents, planning guides, and supporting resources
• Develop scenario overviews and scene-setting briefs
• Support the exercise planning team with administrative and scenario documentation
• Collaborate with experienced team members to understand exercise requirements and timelines
Skills/background needed:
• Ability to write clearly and follow detailed guidelines
• Attention to detail and organisational skills
• Willingness to learn about training operations and exercise design
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Google Docs
