Thank you for your interest in this position. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sports Data Writer on a seasonal basis.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for accurately recording and reporting data about athletic events. This is a fast-paced role that requires precision and attention to detail. No prior experience is necessary—we provide full training on all processes and systems you’ll need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record event data with high accuracy, including times, names, distances, and conditions
• Ensure all information is spelled correctly and documented clearly
• Enter data into our reporting system quickly and accurately
• Work in a fast-paced, sometimes busy environment
• Maintain punctual attendance and be available for overtime when needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/background needed:
• Ability to read and write English clearly and legibly
• High attention to detail and strong accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work quickly in a busy, sometimes noisy environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and comfort learning new software systems
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions when necessary
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred (or equivalent work experience)
Work Environment:
This is an on-site role. You will work in a moderately noisy environment and may be exposed to secondhand smoke. The role requires standing and walking for most of your shift, with frequent reaching and lifting of up to 25 pounds. You may need to bend, twist, balance, and work in confined spaces as part of your duties.
