We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and help create clear, accurate documentation for complex technical materials. You’ll work with engineers and subject matter experts to write, edit, and manage technical manuals and guides. This is a fully remote position ideal for someone starting their career in technical writing.
What you’ll do:
• Edit and proofread technical documentation while maintaining industry standards for accuracy and clarity
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and subject matter experts to create and refine technical manuals
• Assist in converting and updating technical documentation to modern formats
• Attend regular document review meetings and provide feedback on documentation changes
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
Skills/background needed:
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Ability to learn new software tools and applications quickly
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
• Prior experience with technical documentation or publications
• Familiarity with XML or structured authoring tools
• Experience with document management systems
