About this role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to help develop and deliver foundational cybersecurity training materials. This is an opportunity to create clear, accessible instructional content that helps learners build essential technical skills. You’ll work on curriculum development and instructional materials across a range of settings, bridging the gap between complex technical concepts and effective teaching delivery.
What you’ll do:
• Write and develop technical instructional materials and curriculum documentation
• Create clear, beginner-friendly explanations of foundational cybersecurity concepts
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and clarity
• Organize and structure technical content for different learning environments
• Use version control systems to manage and track document updates
• Support the delivery of training in various formats
Skills/background needed:
• Teaching certification, instructor training, or 2+ years of experience teaching or instructing in any formal educational setting (school, college, military, corporate training, or industrial)
• Foundational cybersecurity knowledge or certification (any entry-level or higher cybersecurity certification)
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to varied audiences
• No prior curriculum development experience required – we provide full training
