Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. You’ll work with management and subject matter experts to create clear, well-organized policy documents, guides, manuals, and other materials. This role offers the chance to develop your writing and editing skills while contributing to important documentation projects. You’ll work independently, with full training and support provided as you grow in the role.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with management and teams to create policy documentation, guides, and manuals
• Edit document drafts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and grammatical correctness
• Write and edit documents, programme histories, and policies
• Prepare documents for publication and electronic formats
• Maintain organized files of document drafts and final versions
• Research topics and prepare summaries as needed
• Ensure all documentation meets quality standards for content, format, and style
• Work with subject matter experts to create and maintain style guides and templates
• Provide guidance to colleagues on document clarity and quality
• Review materials to verify accuracy and catch errors before publication
• Coordinate with internal teams to prioritise editing and publication tasks
• Provide customer service support as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Rate:
Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length:
Full-time, permanent position
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of professional writing and editing experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong proofreading and copyediting abilities with solid grammar knowledge
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to different audiences
• Experience creating and maintaining style guides and templates
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop is a plus
• Experience with infographics, internal communications, or digital media strategies is desirable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good customer service skills
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Location:

Travel:
Domestic and international travel required for projects, training, and business purposes, not to exceed 20% of the work year
Physical demands:
This is primarily an office-based role. You’ll spend most of your time at a desk using a computer, but may occasionally need to stand, walk, use office equipment, and lift items up to 25 pounds.
