Content Strategist – Entry Level (Remote)

Join our team as a Content Strategist and help create clear, compelling content that makes a real difference in people’s lives. In this role, you’ll work from home developing content across multiple channels, from email and social media to web pages and marketing campaigns.

Roles: Content creation, copywriting, editing, content strategy development, and brand voice guidance across digital and print channels. You’ll also help teams explore how to use emerging content tools responsibly and effectively.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Create and edit high-quality content for brand campaigns, websites, emails, social media, videos, and member communications
• Develop content strategy and editorial planning for major campaigns and member education
• Work with subject matter experts to turn complex information into clear, helpful member communications
• Serve as the voice of the brand, ensuring all content reflects consistent personality and values
• Help identify practical uses for AI and emerging content tools to improve workflow and quality
• Build and maintain content standards, templates, and best practices guides
• Manage content intake, review, approval, and publishing processes
• Create and maintain an editorial calendar that brings together all content priorities
• Review website content for clarity, searchability, and accessibility
• Audit content regularly to identify what’s outdated or underperforming
• Use data and member feedback to improve future content
• Coach team members on brand voice and writing standards

Skills/Background Needed:

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
• Understanding of brand voice, messaging strategy, and content planning
• Strong project management skills—comfort managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Collaborative working style with confidence to influence decisions
• Working knowledge of search engine optimization, web content best practices, analytics, and accessibility
• Comfort evaluating and using AI-enabled content tools responsibly
• Detail-oriented with strong judgment and follow-through
• Familiarity with content management systems and project management tools (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of copywriting, content strategy, editorial strategy, or marketing communications experience
• Demonstrated portfolio of strong copywriting work (required)
• Experience building content processes, editorial calendars, or writing standards (preferred)
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries (preferred)

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract Length: Full-time, ongoing.
