About This Role
This is a fully remote position supporting the review and editing of medical and policy documents. You will work with a team to edit, format, and ensure consistency across complex scientific materials. The role involves meeting notes, quality checks, and collaboration with stakeholders across multiple departments.
This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for someone with strong writing and organisational skills who is eager to develop expertise in medical document editing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit and format documents for consistency, grammar, punctuation, and style
• Attend meetings and synthesise notes into clear summaries
• Perform quality checks on work completed by team members
• Conduct literature searches to support editing and revision tasks
• Manage document organisation and updates using standard platforms
• Check documents for accessibility compliance standards
• Collaborate with team members to establish project scope, requirements, and timelines
• Support project administration including scheduling and task coordination
• Assist with general project support as needed
Skills/background needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to take accurate meeting notes and synthesise key discussion points
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Willingness to learn new tools and processes
• No prior experience required – full training provided
Preferred Experience
• Familiarity with style guides (such as AP or Chicago)
• Experience with document management platforms
• Knowledge of scientific or medical terminology
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance documentation
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred (any discipline).
