About this role
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to develop, write, and edit product manuals, procedures, and other technical documents. You’ll communicate complex technical information through clear text and graphics, making it accessible to users, owners, and integrators of equipment.
What you’ll do
Your responsibilities will include:
Communicate technical procedures and information via text and graphics.
Interview production, engineering, and service personnel to learn about controls, functionality, maintenance, troubleshooting, safety, installation, and operation of equipment.
Review manufacturer documentation, drawings, and technical data related to equipment operation, maintenance, and service.
Study engineering drawings, schematics, parts lists, and specifications to produce accurate, complete technical manuals.
Create graphics for procedures using design software and mechanical design tools, then lay out graphics and text using publishing software.
Skills/background needed
Bachelor’s degree required. We welcome candidates with 2+ years of related experience or training. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign) is preferred. Full training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
