We’re looking for an entry-level Multimedia Journalist to join our news team. This is a full-time, on-site position where you’ll work alongside experienced journalists in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
About the role:
You’ll be at the heart of our daily news operation. Responsibilities include gathering and reporting on stories, writing news scripts, conducting interviews, delivering live or recorded reports, and collaborating with the team to meet tight deadlines. You may also cover breaking news and contribute to our editorial process to ensure accurate, impactful journalism. This role offers hands-on experience across all aspects of broadcast news production.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required. We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for storytelling. You should be organized, able to work under pressure, and comfortable learning newsroom software and broadcasting techniques on the job. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be needed for field reporting. A degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
