About the Role:
We’re looking for an entry-level Content Writer and Graphic Designer to join our team on a fully remote basis. This is a perfect opportunity if you’re passionate about creating engaging visual content and compelling written materials that inspire people to support meaningful causes.
You’ll work on a variety of projects including social media graphics, donor communications, email campaigns, and fundraising materials. No prior professional experience is required—we provide full training and support to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do:
• Create eye-catching graphics and visual content for social media, emails, and digital campaigns using design tools
• Write clear, compelling copy for donor communications, fundraising appeals, and website content
• Design and prepare both digital and print-ready materials
• Help coordinate and promote fundraising events and programs through creative content
• Manage social media content creation and posting schedules
• Respond to inquiries and provide information to supporters in a timely, professional manner
• Collaborate with team leaders to bring creative ideas to life
• Assist with event planning and promotional materials as needed
• Help maintain and update website content
• Support budget tracking and basic financial reporting tasks
Skills/Background Needed:
• Proficiency with design tools such as Canva (required; Adobe experience is a plus)
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities
• Comfortable learning and using donor management databases
• Experience with Microsoft Word and spreadsheet software (Excel or Google Sheets)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• A passion for supporting education and community impact
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously improve
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with others
Preferred Experience:
• Any previous work with nonprofit organizations
• Experience creating social media content
• Basic grant writing or fundraising communication experience
