Overview:
We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator to develop, manage, and grow our social media presence. You’ll create compelling content, manage our community across multiple platforms, and help amplify our message to both existing followers and new audiences.
This role offers full training in social media strategy, content creation, and digital marketing—no prior experience required, though candidates with enthusiasm for social media are ideal.
What You’ll Do:
Content Creation & Management
• Develop, write, and schedule engaging social media content across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Transform written materials, announcements, and organisational activities into engaging digital content
• Maintain a content calendar that organises campaigns, announcements, and recurring content
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and graphic designers to develop high-quality visual content
Social Media Strategy & Planning
• Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies aligned with organisational goals
• Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities
• Create campaigns to promote events, initiatives, and announcements
• Maintain consistent messaging, voice, and visual identity across all platforms
Community Engagement & Analytics
• Monitor comments, messages, and engagement across all platforms
• Analyse social media performance metrics and use insights to improve future content
• Build and maintain relationships with followers and community members
Team Support & Collaboration
• Work closely with internal teams to collect content ideas and announcements
• Support other team members with social media guidance and best practices
• Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on social media performance
Skills & Background Needed:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Enthusiasm for social media and digital content
• Ability to create or work with short-form video content
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
• Basic understanding of social media analytics and scheduling tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience with Canva or similar simple design tools (preferred but not required)
• Excellent organisational and planning skills
Contract Length: Full-time, permanent role
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
