About the role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented content writer and book enthusiast to join our content team. You’ll be responsible for curating and merchandising books for our community, managing content processes, and writing engaging copy that helps readers discover their next favourite story.
This is a fully remote position with flexible work arrangements. You’ll have the opportunity to work from home while collaborating with a supportive team across multiple locations.
What you’ll do
In your first year, you can expect to:
Review book submissions and select titles based on data-driven insights and market trends
Curate, categorize, and showcase books across our website, email campaigns, and marketing placements
Plan and execute content strategy for promotional campaigns and seasonal sales
Write, edit, and proofread compelling, error-free copy for book listings and marketing materials
Monitor content performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Work collaboratively with team members to streamline processes and achieve content goals
Skills and background needed
You don’t need prior experience in this exact role, but we’re looking for someone with:
A genuine passion for books and a willingness to explore unfamiliar genres
Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
Comfort working with data and metrics to inform decisions
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Collaborative approach to working with team members across different departments
Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
