Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist – Remote

Role Overview

We’re looking for a motivated Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist to build our brand’s online presence from scratch. This is a completely fresh start—we’re launching our social media and digital marketing for the first time, and this role is critical to establishing the foundation for our growth.

You’ll work from home most days, with occasional in-person meetings to review content and align on strategy. In this role, you’ll create, launch, and manage brand new profiles across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and our Google Business Profile. You’ll transform raw project data, field photos, and completed work updates into professional, engaging content that speaks directly to our target audience. A major focus will be Local Search Optimization, ensuring our new profiles rank highly when people search for services in our industry and region.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Launch & Content Creation: Set up and build out new company profiles across all major platforms. Review completed projects, polish photos and videos, and create high-impact daily posts. Produce a weekly video recap (approximately 60 seconds) showcasing diverse completed work to demonstrate our capabilities and scale.

Search Optimization: Optimize new profiles, posts, and search visibility using targeted keywords, location tags, and metadata to improve rankings. Monitor and respond professionally to inbound messages, comments, and reviews.

Skills & Background Needed

This is an entry-level position. We provide full training, so you don’t need to have experience in every area—we’re looking for enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience with social media management or digital marketing (any industry)
• Familiarity with short-form video editing tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar software
• Strong written communication skills
• Basic understanding of how search engines and local business profiles work, or eagerness to learn
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple platforms
• Comfortable attending occasional in-person meetings in the local area

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract Length: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.

Work Format: Fully remote with occasional on-site meetings.

Location: Open to applicants worldwide. In-person meetings will be held locally; you should be able to attend when needed.
