Content Systems Product Manager – Entry Level, Full Time

Overview:

As a member of a content systems product team, you will help shape the automation strategy for tools and systems that power streaming experiences globally. Your mission is to learn the hands-on challenges that partner teams face, then build solutions to solve the right problems at the right time.

You will play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently as the business scales. This team cares about solving problems and improving workflows for the people they work with each day. Together, you’ll build forward-looking tools that scale alongside the business.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Partner with operations teams to learn where gaps exist in workflows. Turn those needs into a clear automation plan you can act on.

• Systems Mapping: Map how content systems connect from end to end – data flows, handoffs, and dependencies – then use that picture to find where and how to automate.

• Process Automation: Guide product development of content systems. Your sharp focus: automate manual, high-touch workflows.

• Innovation: Find and roll out solutions that help operations teams work more effectively. Think automated metadata extraction, assisted quality checks, and auto-created assets.

• Technical Documentation: Share a clear vision for technical work. Write up scope, use cases, workflows, and diagrams.

• Agile Execution: Lead team activities such as planning and setting priorities. That way, development teams always have what they need to succeed.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Bring partners together on delivery scope and prepare for exciting launches.

Skills/background needed:

• Systems Thinking: Ability to map and visualize how complex, interconnected systems work together end-to-end – understanding not just individual tools but the relationships between them – in order to identify where and how to automate across workflows.

• Automation Mindset: A proven passion for building workflow tools that are a joy to use for internal teams.

• Technical Comfort: Familiarity with complex technical workflow systems. Any background in engineering or related technical fields is a plus, but not required – full training will be provided.

• Domain Interest: A strong interest in the media and streaming industry and how content moves through supply chains.

• Collaboration: You build caring, trusting relationships across teams. This helps product work run smoothly, even in complex environments.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working in agile team environments.
