Overview:
This is a fast-paced warehouse role where you’ll help keep inventory systems accurate and organised. You’ll validate completed products coming off production lines and report them into the system, ensuring everything is tracked correctly. No prior warehouse experience is necessary—full training will be provided.
Main Responsibilities:
Monitor work orders to verify that produced quantities are correct. Generate and attach identification labels to goods. Resolve any issues with lot codes and expiration dates as they arise. Move pallets of completed goods when needed. Report all validation issues immediately to your supervisor. Follow all safety and food safety policies and procedures. Record scrap items into the system. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Skills/background needed:
Basic computer skills and basic maths ability. Experience with a barcode scanner is a plus but not required. Ability to read and write in English. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Willingness to work weekends as needed.
Physical Demands:
You’ll be working on your feet for extended periods, walking and standing throughout your shift. You’ll operate a manual pallet jack to move goods. The warehouse environment is fast-paced with variable temperatures due to refrigeration and climate control.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, temporary seasonal position.
